President and Majority Owner with a Proud Minority Heritage

Karen Hurst, our president and 51% owner of Hurst Brothers Company, Inc. is very proud of both her Hispanic and Cherokee American Indian Heritage.

Her father and his family were Hispanic citizens of Mexico and helped settle the Arizona Territory. While on the other hand, her great grandmother was a Cherokee Princess that came through the "Trail of Tears" and settled on Cherokee Nation Territory in Eastern Oklahoma.

Besides being president, she is the Administrative Manager. She handles all the financial needs, job invoicing, crew schedules and crew reporting system, as well as any other duties that may arise.
